the end is the starting point

"the end is where we start from," t.s. eliot writes

but he ignored the grammatical rule of winston churchill who stated, "From now on, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put."

i've never been a fan of strunk & white or even churchhill for that matter.

still, Eliot offers a nugget of very profound truth.

the end we seek and desire really ought always to be our starting point.

chomsky, politics and other heady matters

i've been on a reading binge....the latest is Chomsky's Secrets, Lies and Democracy

an oldies but goodie

you can't digest it like the Star Tribune but its good all the same

but....as someone caught my attention this week and told me....

how come all i can think of is that "Noam could be Gnome Chomsky

he's a homonym."
